How Our Process Works

To ensure a seamless and compliant shopping experience, we utilize a two-step verification process:

1. Digital Verification at Checkout When placing your order, you must provide your legal name and date of birth. Our system may use secure, third-party age verification software to confirm your details against public records. This process is instant and does not affect your credit score.

2. Government-Issued Photo ID Upon Delivery All shipments from LUXE are sent via Canada Post (19+ Proof of Age Service).

  • ID Required: A valid, government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport, or Provincial ID) must be presented to the delivery agent.

  • No Exceptions: The name on the ID must match the name on the shipping label.

  • No "Safe Drop": Packages cannot be left in mailboxes or on porches. If you are not home, the package will be held at your local post office for secure pickup.

Failure to Verify & Underage Purchases

We take our "No Minor" policy seriously. If an order is placed by a minor or if a package is returned to us because a customer cannot provide valid proof of age:

  • The Order Will Be Cancelled: We will not ship to anyone under the legal age.

  • Restocking Penalty: A 75% refund will be issued to the original payment method. The remaining 25%, along with all original and return shipping costs, will be retained as a restocking and handling fee.

Your Privacy Matters

Any information provided for the purpose of age verification is handled with the utmost security. We do not store your sensitive ID documents; we simply verify your eligibility to ensure a safe and legal community for all LUXE customers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my spouse or roommate sign for my package? No. Canada Post requirements state that the individual named in the shipping field must be the one to present their ID and sign for the delivery.

I look older than 19. Do I still need to show ID? Yes. To ensure 100% compliance with Canadian law, ID is requested for every single delivery, regardless of the recipient's appearance.
